WAFU Announces Venue For 2022 Zonal CAF women Champions League Qualifiers

West African Football Union, WAFU has announced the venue and date for the second edition of the 2022 CAF women’s champions league Zonal Qualifiers.
West African Football Union revealed Abidjan, Ivory Coast will be the host of this year’s regional qualifiers after a successful hosting last year.
WAFU also also announced that the zonal competition will begin from August 13th to 27th and will serve as the qualifying tournament for the second edition of the Caf Women’s Champions League finals later this year in Morocco.
Seven countries will be represented in the zonal qualifiers, including hosts Cote d’Ivoire, Togo, Benin Republic, Ghana, Niger, Nigeria and Burkina Faso.
Bayelsa Queens after emerging the champions of the Nigerian Women Football League (NWFL) season will represent Nigeria at the zonal competition, with only one team qualifying for the CAF women’s champions league from the WAFU zone.
