Harry Kane scored a brace as Tottenham recorded a vital 3-0 win over Arsenal on Thursday night to boost their Champions League hopes, Sportivation.com.ng reports.
The England striker opened the scoring from the spot in the 22nd minute after Cedric fouled Son Heung Min to give the hosts an early advantage.
Arsenal defender Rob Holding was sent off for a foul on Son having received a caution for grabbing him earlier on.
Tottenham and Kane took advantage of the numerical advantage to score the second goal when his near post header gave the hosts a 2-0 lead just before halftime.
Son Heung Min capped off a brilliant performance with a goal to make it 3-0 after the restart to put the game beyond the visitors.
Tottenham are now one point behind Arsenal in the race for the fourth position with two games remaining.
