Manchester City has finalized an agreement with Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
The Premier League champions acknowledged this via their official Twitter account.
Haaland is believed to have agreed on a five-year contract which will see him take home £365,000 per week at City.
“Manchester City can confirm that we have achieved an agreement in principle with Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of striker Erling Haaland to the Club on July 1st, 2022,” the statement said.
“The move is contingent on the Club reaching an agreement with the player.”
Haaland is available for £62 million this summer due to a provision in his contract.
Guardiola will finally sign a striker, only a year after City were denied a £150 million bid for Harry Kane.
