FA Cup: Klopp Wants Liverpool Improvement Against City

Liverpool’s manager Jurgen Klopp has stated that he wants his team to find another gear against Manchester City in their FA Cup semi-final on Saturday, Sportivation.com.ng reports.

The German coach has challenged his squad to improve on their performance in last weekend’s Premier League match.

On Sunday, the Reds drew 2-2 with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium after trailing twice.

“City were really strong last week and we were not at our best,” Klopp told reporters on Thursday.

“I’d like to see a game where we are at our best. That would be nice, could be a surprise if all of a sudden we are good!

“The boys did a lot of good stuff in the game, but there were a couple of things and I know that we can perform to a different level,” he added.

The Reds are in the hunt for a historic quadruple this season having won the League Cup last month after beating Chelsea.
