Aribo, Bassey Nominated For Rangers Award

Super Eagles players Joe Aribo and Calvin Bassey have been nominated for the Rangers Player of the Year award for the 2021/2022 season, Sportivation.com.ng reports.
The identities of Bassey and Aribo, as well as seven other nominees, were released on the website of the Scottish Premiership champions.
The winner of the award will be determined once the club supporters’ votes are counted.
The winner will be announced during the club’s Player Awards Ceremony on Sunday, April 24th.
Fans have until Sunday at midnight to vote for the winner.
Aribo and Bassey both played as Rangers defeated Sporting Braga with nine men to go to the Europa League semi-finals.
As Rangers triumphed 3-1 and proceeded to the last four, Bassey was outstanding in central defense and Aribo contributed two assists.
It was Aribo’s tenth assist for Rangers this season in all competitions.
Bassey made his 42nd appearance in all competitions this season, and he has five assists for the Scottish giants.
