Highly-rated Midfielder, Adewale Lasisi has described his NPFL debut for Dakkada as a ‘dream come true’, Sportivation.com.ng reports.
The former Ibom Youth star came off the bench with twenty minutes to go against MFM FC in Uyo on Sunday in a 2-0 win for Dakkada.
“I am excited to be able to play in the Nigeria Professional Football League, it is a dream come true for me after years of working very hard. Making my debut against MFM was very good, we know how popular they are in Lagos”.
I’m also grateful to Dakkada for giving me the opportunity to show what I can do, I will continue to work hard to help the team achieve its objectives at the end of the season”. I have been dreaming of playing league football since childhood and this means a lot to me.
He also appreciated his family members, friends, and coaches for their role in his career.
“I want to say a big thank you to my family members, friends, and well-wishers for their support over the years”.
Adewale Lasisi is a skillful midfielder with deft touches, who can unlock defense with his creativity.
Dakkada will be in action in match-day three of the NPFL on Wednesday against Heartland.
