‘I want to play for Nigeria’ – Mahmoud Sanni-Oba

Highly-rated Nigerian striker, Mahmoud Sanni-Oba has expressed his desire to play for the Super Eagles.

Mahmoud, who is a striker known for his innate ability to score goals coupled with flair and technical ability which makes him a threat for opposing defenders.

The former Oakham United star has attracted alot of interest from high division clubs owing to his impressive performances in front of goal.

Mahmoud Sanni-Oba told Sportivation Media that he is willing to represent his fatherland, and to contribute his quota to get the Super Eagles back to the top.

“I am a Nigerian, it has always been my dream to play for the Super Eagles, nothing would mean more to me than wearing the jersey of the team when the opportunity comes, I will represent with pride and honour with the aim of reinstating the Super Eagles back into football folklore as one of the best footballing nations”.

He also revealed how he grew up idolizing the likes of Austin Jay Jay Okocha, Nwankwo Kanu, Samuel Eto’o, Thierry Henry, Didier Drogba, Ronaldinho and Zinedine Zidane.

Mahmoud was born and raised in Kwara State, Ilorin.

Mahmoud is currently on the books of Hackney Wick FC in London, United Kingdom.
