D’ Tigress Book Afro Basket Last Four Place

D’ Tigress are through to the Semi Final of the ongoing Female Afro Basketball after defeating their West African counterpart Ivory Coast 72-56.

The star of the show was no other player than the MVP herself Ezinne Kalu who scored an impressive 19 points in the game.

D’ Tigress started the game on fire as they dominated and won the first quarter 24-8.

The second (19-13) and third (16-14) quarters were tightly contested as Ivorians finally settled in the game.

D’ Tigress held on to win the game despite a late scare from the Ivorians who won the 4th quarter 21-13.

They will play the winner between Senegal vs Mozambique.

D’ Tigress are unbeaten since November 2nd 2015.
