Osetoba Thumps Up Gov. Kayode Fayemi For Hosting Ekiti Athletes “To Edo 2020” NSF

The Chairman, Ekiti State Sports Council Hon Mrs. Olusola Osetoba has commended the State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi for hosting the athletes to the recently held National Sports Festival, NSF Edo 2020.

Osetoba said this at the grand reception organized by the State Government to celebrate medal winning athletes at the Government House, Ado-Ekiti on Monday afternoon.

The sports council chairman commended the Governor for hosting the athletes and his continual support for sports development in the State.

“I want to thank you specially Mr Governor (Kayode Fayemi) for your unflinching support towards the development of sports and receiving these athletes who have done the State proud at the National level.

“On our part at the sports council, we will continue to do our best in line with your governance policy to develop and promote sports in the State.

“Let me assure you Mr Governor that in no distant time, we will come back here to present to you medal winning athletes in competitions to come,” said Osetoba.

It will be recalled that the Ekiti State contingent to the National Sports Festival won 2 gold, 3 silver, and 8 bronze medal to finish in the 23rd position out if the 36 States and the FCT in the medals table.
