Easywell FC Spank Divine Star

Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO1) side, Easywell FC defeated Divine Star United 4-1 in a pre-season friendly game at the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu, Ogun State.

The 2021 Ogun State FA Cup finalist started the game with Quadri Ibrahim in goal and a team comprising of Fatimehin Tobi, Ayo Stephen, Sunday Fassan, Olusola Sogbesan, Jamiu Opeyemi, Manger Okene, Chamching Emmanuel, Odukoya Elijah, and Apata Kehinde.

Elijah Odukoya opened the scoring for Easywell FC in the eighth minute.
He doubled his side lead in the 22nd minute before Betiku Oluseyi pulled a goal back for Divine Star United.

Odukoya Elijah scored two more goals in the second half to give his side a 4-1 victory.

Easywell FC is using the friendly to prepare and keep the team in shape for the NLO1.

A successful campaign for the team in the NLO1 might see them promote to the second tier, Nigeria National League (NNL) which is the club’s main target.
