BYT Football Club recorded a 4-2 win over Praise King FC in a keenly-contested friendly match at the MKO Abiola Pitch, Jakande Estate, Isolo on Friday, Sportivation.com.ng reports.
The Felix Nwosu tutored team took an early lead in the fourth minute via Paul Godwin following a superb team move.
Four minutes later, Abraham Izekor extended the hosts lead following a good work from Paul Godwin.
Praise King FC reduced the deficit with just before the break after a miscommunication from BYT goalkeeper, Ismail Adio and Christian.
BYT Football Club started the second half like a house on fire scoring two quick-fire goals courtesy of 35-yard screamer from Timothy and the fourth goal by Nsikak Raphael, who finished off a sublime pass from Timothy.
Praise King FC could not go down without a fight as they scored their second goal from the spot late in the second half.
BYT Football Club held on to win the match 4-2.
In the other game played on the same day, BYT played out a 1-1 draw with Ibadan City FC.
Ojo opened the scoring for the hosts before the visitors restored parity for minutes later.
BYT Football Club coach, Felix Nwosu has revealed that the team is a work in progress and he and his coaching crew have noted the areas of improvement.
“It was wonderful game both opponents gave us the kind of game we wanted”.
“We are in a building process and hopefully we shall get there sooner”.
“This is the 5th game with 4 wins and and a draw scoring over 20 goals and conceding less than 7”.
“We have seen where we are lacking and we will strengthen it as days go by”.
