Visiting Ochar Football Club painfully licked their wound today as they left the mainbowl of the community secondary school ohanze with their heads lowly bent in utmost dejection, no thanks to a 4 nil demolition suffered in the hands of their ruthless hosts, jewels football academy.

A 16minute headed opener off a cornerkick by the bulky central defender Victor ike who has been on a lengthy layoff while battling with a reoccurring metatarsal injury, was the goal which set the tonic for the ohanze based outfit as they envisaged a goalscoring spree-filled encounter against their visitors, holding on to possession going into the break.

Inform goal-poacher Hezekiah Ogbebe was thrown into the fray by Head coach Akin Joe akuma who was incharge of touchline duties as technical adviser coach chinedu obasi okezie continues his honeymoon holidays, and the pacy striker immediately justified the faith kept in him by the technical crew as he forced his way into the opposition box, benefiting from a goal mouth scramble to put the ball inside the opponent’s net for the second goal.

Ogbebe never relented as he had a moment of individual brilliance in the 70th minute, effortlessly drove from the middle to shoot past a helpless goalkeeper for his second and jewel’s third goal respectively.

The enugu born striker completed his hatrrick in the closing stages of the encounter as he latched onto a neat assist from strike partner chimamkpa to finish in style. A seemingly controversial centre referee finally blew for full-time as jewels football academy recorded a flawless victory.

A delightful hattrick-hero Hezekiah Ogbebe while leaving with the matchball reacted to his first hattrick in a jewel shirt as he spoke to jewels media;

“I feel so excited bagging a hattrick today, I ve always longed for it, thankfully the opportunity came up today and I had to utilise it, I will keep on with this consistency as I look forward to bagging further hattricks in subsequent matches”.

In his post match reactions, the Head coach of jewels football academy, coach Akin joe akuma attributed the victory to instructional play and dedication towards hardwork during training sessions.

“the boys have shown great commitment in their last 2 games by scoring 4 goals apiece, a testament to the fact that they are making progress in this course, we have to maintain this momentum, the pace has to continue geared towards productivity”! the abia state born gaffer was quoted as saying.
