Legendary Tennis star Serena Williams crashed out of the 2021 French Open after losing to 21-year-old Elena Rybakina 6-3 7-5, Sportivation.com.ng reports.

The 39-year-old has not won a Grand Slam since she was victorious at the Australian Open in 2017.

Serena has reacted after missing out on another opportunity to win her 24th Grand Slam title.

“It was definitely close,” said Williams, who was seeded seven. “There is literally a point here, a point there, that could change the whole course of the match.

“I’m not winning those points – they could literally change everything.”

However, Serena has revealed that she is not thinking about the seemingly elusive 24th Grand Slam title.

“I’m definitely not thinking about it at all,” said the three-time French Open winner.
