Saka Reacts To First England Goal

Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka got his first international goal on Wednesday night after he tapped in from a tight range as England defeated Austria 1-0 in one of the friendlies ahead of the Euro 2020 which starts in less than 2 weeks.

Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish initial trial was blocked by Leipzig’s Marcel Sabitzer with the ball falling in the path of Arsenal’s Saka who latched on from a tight range.

The game was the youngster’s first international goal.
Saka who had Nigerian roots decided to play for the 3 Lions amid speculations of him to play for the 3-time African champions.

The elated Arsenal No.7 took to his Twitter page as he couldn’t hide delight saying he had always dreamt of that moment growing up.

Saka on Twitter said: “The moment I always dreamt of growing up”

Saka scored 7 goals and registered 10 assists in 46 games across all Competitions for Arsenal in the just concluded campaign earning him a spot among the PFA Young Player Of The Year Award nominees.
