NNL: Oluyole Warriors Tame Lions Of Naija In Lagos

Shooting Stars Sports Club, also known as the Oluyole Warriors defeated Vandrezzer FC, nicknamed Lions Of Naija 1-0 at the Agege Township Stadium, Sportivation.com.ng reports.

The NNL matchday 13 delivered an entertaining encounter between one of the traditional clubs in Nigerian football and a new team showing the way in terms of branding, professionalism, and marketing.

The all-action-packed encounter ended goalless in the first half as both sides failed to take their chances.

Shooting Stars had the last laugh when substitute Raheem Quadry broke the deadlock with a  late header to grab the maximum points.

The Oluyole Warriors completed a double over Vandrezzer after recording a 2-0 win at the Dipo Dina Stadium Ijebu Ode in April.
